Between the Rhine River and the Palatinate Forest, you will find the "Willawies". It is the ideal starting point to experience the history, the landscape, the wine and the food of the region. Our "Willawies" is a freestanding home, which was reconstructed in 2004 from an old barn, and offers visitors a perfect spot for rest and recuperation.

Welcome to the "Tuscany of Germany". In the southern Palatinate region, within a radius of about 35 km from Dudenhofen, you will find the most famous wine villages: Neustadt an der Weinstraße, Deidesheim, Bad Dürkheim and many others. They can be reached by car in 30 minutes or by bike in 1.5 to 2 hours.

Cathedral City Speyer

Dudenhofen is only 2.5 km away from the cathedral and university city of Speyer. The city center featuring the charming Maximilianstraße, can be reached on foot in 45 minutes, or by bike in under 20 minutes. In addition to the cathedral and many other historical sites, Speyer offers one of the largest German technology museums a favorite day trip for kids and adults interested in trains, planes, and automobiles. The impressive Russian space glider "Buran" can be admired here. Another nearby fun-filled activity is the Holiday Park in Hassloch, which features rollercoasters and rides for children ages 5-14.

The forest surrounding Dudenhofen is filled with walking and biking trails, which are clearly marked so you can leave your phone at home. Challenge yourself in the Climbing forest between Dudenhofen and Speyer! The Cathedral found in the neighboring city of Speyer is a masterpiece in its own right. Meander throughout the Old City, discover museums, climb the medieval west city gate (Altpörtel), and explore the fragments of the old city wall. Take a day to relax in the newly designed indoor and outdoor pool, which features a sauna and wellness spa. The technical museum teaches a new generation about the planes and trains of old, and the IMAX next door will transport you to the wonders of Everest, dolphins, and much much more.
